During his postgraduate training in the US, Dr Leong gained extensive exposure and clinical experience in implant dentistry and worked very closely with Noblepharma, the Swedish company that invented dental implants. His Master degree thesis was based on the Procera system, a computer-aided design and manufacturing (CADCAM) technology for making dental crowns and bridges which is widely used today.

Dr Leong has published internationally and taught undergraduate prosthodontics at NUS as well as at the University of Warwick Master of Implant Dentistry degree programme. Dr Leong’s expertise is in the areas of cosmetic and implant dentistry, redesigning of smiles, full mouth rehabilitation of worn and broken down dentition. He has treated many complex cases especially those involving dental implants and derives great satisfaction when patients’ lives are changed because of the improvements to their teeth.

He is co-author of the book, “A Patient’s Guide to Dental Implants” which is available free at www.implantdontics.com. Dr Leong is a member of several societies including the Prosthodontic Society, Singapore and the Aesthetic Dentistry Society of Singapore.
